Cost: £4 Staines Community Centre Members, £4.50 Non Members. Booking made in person, on the day. Payment via cash only.
These workshops consist of an extensive warm up that works on posture, balance, and strength and gives the opportunity for the participants to explore their own movements.
Each week, participants then get introduced to 2 different dance styles – from Musical Theatre, Greek Dance, Bhangra to Hip-hop – and learn short set routines that improve memory, endurance, and coordination. Dancing to music together with others is a wonderful way to get active and is also a real mood lifter!
This class is mostly standing but can be adapted to seated.
